In my own, very personal, opinion‚ we are all spiritual beings, in earthly bodies, working our way to Godliness. Indeed the age of enlightenment, sensitivity and spirituality is now coming to this planet and coming fast. However, as you have probably seen within your own circle of friends and family, some people have become ‘stuck.’ They have lost their way. They have reached the point of trying to fill their inner spiritual place of peace and joy with external worldly pleasure. But as that can never be done, those people never really attain either peace or joy. In which case, whilst living on this earth, this worldly coil, we each have a choice to make....
Do we connect with God (whomever or whatever God is to us personally) and fill the spiritual place within us…thereby lead a balanced, positive existence where we are suitably prepared to face the rawness of life, recognise it for what it is, see its darker elements, stand face to face with them, look them straight in the eye, feel touched, feel saddened, feel outraged, feel frightened, yet all the while feel a deep inner sense of contentment, peace and joy. Or do we disconnect from God and allow the spiritual place within us to be empty…thereby lead an unbalanced negative existence where we, as merely man, blindly go looking for self gratification in worldly places but all the while feeling lost, alone, vulnerable, disappointed and never really feeling true contentment, peace or joy. The choice is ours.
